They sure do. Hammer, spring and fixed "ivg". They say the fixed "ivg" "won’t creep out of adjustment." Velocity is adjusted through the hpr. And all the AKA components are well balanced to work together for high efficiency.

AKA Paintball

About 1/5 of the way down the page. $28 bucks. Probably not necessary, but I've never really heard anything about these irl other than in Merlins.

Yup, found it. Thanks guys. This project is growing cost wise exponentially, hopefully it'll be quiet and efficient as **** when im done.

Is it just the noise you're trying to change? Is it the stereotypical farting, or do you feel the AKA products are superior to the CCM internals?

Just out of curiosity.

I feel like the AKA setup (valve/bolt/reg) will let me run it at super low pressures, and thus make it quieter. I don't think/care that the hammer or IVG will be any better. The reg is more just for consistency, less to do with pressure. I believe the CCM reg can run at 150 PSI as well. So mainly I'm looking at the valve and bolt.

Questions are good man, no worries!

I think many valves and bolts can run at low pressure. But not efficiently. The thing with the Tornado valve with Lightning bolt is that you can run it low and it will not be an air hog.

S'okay, I play hopperball and use a 68/4500. The tornado is the best i've found so far, I've also looked into rocket valves though.

Rocket valves, meuh.. I wouldn't trust a small plastic disk threaded on metal that holds a compressed spring... The turtle valve had a similar design but seemed better built.

Rocket valves have actually worked very well for me, but I've only used them in Tribals. TBH although there seems to be something special about the tornado valve and low pressure ranges, with the right spring and a well ported valve (and high flow cupseal/valve face) and high flow bolt, correct springing seems to be the most important factor.

So remember to pick up a good spring kit while you're at it so you can really fiddle with you valve. I don't have any proof, and I'm sure ccm regs would run well enough at <200psi, I do tend to think a sidewinder or sst would be would best. I guess if you're playing ca and/or pump it doesn't really matter though. although I do tend to favor aka products
