| Newbie Join Date: Dec 2012 | small leak need help
gurus, just picked up an 03 featherlight milled excal and when I put air to it there is a leak from the hole right behind the ASA. I'm not sure what is causing it, figure it would be an o-ring but can't find one. If you guys could help that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance. |

Oring/s on the lpr/scm got slit up while inserting. That hole behind the vASA is a vent for the lpr's piston to work freely. Remove HPR, then remove lpr while looking into the vASA hole to make sure the orings don't pinch. Use a small allan key to keep them in their groove. Replace the orings on the outside of the lpr, they are 015 duro70. The harder duro90 can be used but it usually makes it a lot harder to remove later. Reinsert lpr slowly while looking into the vASA and keep the orings in their groove, they will want to pinch and slice. Lube helps.
