That's what I thought. No, those nicks on the neck should not keep it from sealing but it hasn't been used in a few years so it'll be sold as is.

Ok, so I need some advice and I'm hoping since the AKA guys are pretty mature you all can help me figure out a fair way of doing this. I might have a buyer for the entire lot. I'm hoping that happens, but if it doesn't I'm going to list things separately. At this time I have around ten interested parties and offers between $100-$150 for the frame. I need to figure out a way to give everyone a fair shot at getting the frame since there seems to be somewhat of a frenzy to get it.

I can PM the interested parties with the highest offer, and also an approximate date and time of when I will post it for sale at that price and the first person there gets it. I can also PM everyone with a high price and whoever comes closest to it will get it. I've never built interest on a hot item like this before it was actually for sale so even though one person will get it I'd like to figure out a way to make it fair for everyone interested. Any thoughts or opinions will be appreciated, especially since this will benefit someone from the AKA community more than it will benefit me. I'll see money either way, I just want to make sure I piss people off the least amount possible.

Just say nothing and put it up for sale. The vultures will find your for sale thread. First come first serve to the highest offer. I wouldn't sell for less than $150

Either that or message the first person that contacted you and tell them it's theirs for $150. If they don't want it go to the 2nd person and so on.

I would open a second would let them all know that its going up for sale at 915pm and the first person to offer 150$plus shipping firm wins it.

Make your rules simple and straight forward, You go by either post time or PM time. the first PM offers 120 then move on, you will get what you want for it, trust me.

You're more than entitled to wait to see if you sell the whole lot. if you can't, drop the frame on Ebay if you wan't to see how it turns out.

I do plan on waiting to hear back from the one who might buy everything, but if not I may go with Bartman's idea: PM'ing anyone interested of the date and approximate time that the thread will go up and first come first serve. Ebay could drive the price higher than $150 but it might also backfire. If people think it'll go for way too much then it could turn away a lot of buyers and not sell for as much as I'd like. It's risky but I won't discard that option completely. I guess we'll see how the next couple days go.

My comments are in red. Trick is to list em with good pics and an honest description. Set a fair price and wait for a buyer. They come along within a week or two. If not you are too high.

I thought STD's were more desirable and sold for more than a regular SCM. I remember them selling in the $100 range but I could be mistaken.

I just sold an unused STD for 100$ but I was happy to get it. Had to wait a week or so and keep it listed. I would say 75$ a pop is more realistic and used 50$ is about what I would expect.

I used to see MM's around $40 and I think I paid around that when I bought it. Hopefully I can get more than $20.

Can you still get the Warped pins? And these were never installed on anything, does anyone know what they cost new?

And $65 for the 2-liter? I'd be happy to sell it for that much considering how busted it looks and the fact that it needs a good cleaning. I'll list it for $65 and see if I get any bites. I'll probably be putting up a sale thread sometime this weekend and returning PM's to those who offered on the frame. Until then, please keep the opinions coming!

I say list it at 175$ shipped and sell based on a simple rule like "first one to pm me and ask for paypal address gets it." If there is that much interest you have every right to ask more and let the buyers sort themselves out. Post here when you will list it and go from there. That way you don't have to sort through a bunch of pm's and second guess who what when. You give em all a fair chance and get the best price. No ebay fees no risks and you are not doing anything rude. You asked for pricing not a list of people interested in buying.

^^ I went with that idea. I'm sent a PM to anyone that sent one to me that the thread for the frame will go up on this forum on Sunday around 9pm EST unless the entire package is sold or I get an insane offer that I can't pass up.

So for those interested, look in the B/S/T tomorrow night around 9pm eastern time for the thread. I'll sell that separately from the rest of the parts.
