Silicone(?) in the Viking Tray

Hey guys,

I'm replacing the super OG board in my blind '03 Viking with a WAS one (meaning I have to put in the three-color LED). I scraped out all of the goop in the back of the tray and it looks like I need to replace it since nothing else holds the LED in place. What should I be using? Clear silicone? I'm guessing hot glue would melt the solder and is probably not the right idea, lol.

Thanks,
Matt

hot glue shouldn't melt solder

It is hot glue. I like to hot glue the wires on my micro switch as well for extra strength.

Hot glue isn't that hot, but that's what it is. You could also try ducktape or ty-wraps too.

My wife has a little craft hot glue gun - should be perfect for this. Thanks all!

Feel free to use the hot glue to re enforce the wires going from the battery to the motor on your prophecy too.

And basically every other wire in paintball.

I did this to re-enforce the 4 wires going into e-cocker eye. They fray very easily if yanked on hard enough.
