New barrel system suggestions for my Excaliburs and Vikings

Ive been cleaning over a decade of dirt off of my gear and getting back on the field.

Id like to look into a new barrel system for my AKA rigs. Any suggestions? Ive looked at Eigenbarrel and Stella kits.

Furius Kits are great. So are Kaners, CP, Hammerhead. I like old school Lapco's freaked out, too. TJD freak bores barrels. Ty sells brass freaks. Both are on MCB.

A Vike/Excal should never be without a Jav or two, as well.

Just buy a stella, Simon has spent a lot of time engineering that barrel with the test from him and AGD, it going to be the optimal go to barrel to have .

cant go wrong with a stella

other alternatives would be deadlywind (what i use) or a empire sniper/resurection kit, though it might cost about as much as the stella kit.. (though i have seen some go on ebay for sub $50)

my only complaint with the stella is the threaded tip, sure most of the damage to a barrel is "bunker rub" and it being interchangeable means you can replace it at your leisure.. but... i dont like to look of it, too fancy, id be good with just a concealment ring, would be nice if simon or someone would make a screw on "rain guard"

I ve had the pleasure of using the lurker 2 piece and its very nice. Super light ,great control bore, good sound signature, only $91 for a 5 piece barrel kit.

Not to go off topic, has anybody used a Stella? I'd love a review. I see they are offered polished raw which is great for projects to be ano'd.

I agree. A lot of barrels are too fancy. Palmer style or the old AAs are pretty simple designs.

I like it, I've only put one day of play on it it so far though. Hopefully hitting the outdoor field tomorrow so I can give it a real shot.

I love me some Palmer barrels, but I don't know how much longer I can shoot brass barrels. The new Ninja tanks that are coming out are almost half as light as the HPA system I'm currently using. Taking that much weight off the back feels like the tipping point where my marker is feeling too front heavy.

I know weight isn't a huge concern for AKA guys but it's noticeable in balance for me.

I have a kit I haven't gotten to test yet, but I'm impressed by Simon's designs and features in almost all of his products.

Give it a week or two and you'll hear more user reviews. They're literally just getting into the hands of customers.
