Eye cover question

Hey AKA folks,

Does anyone know the clearance measurements for eye covers in regards to the eye wires and detents.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Well, someone must know.

I mean Lufkon made his own eye covers for the Evil M's he made.

Elia made his own eye covers for the evil M's he made.

I'm sure DC has made eye covers before.

AcidCustoms has probably made eye covers.

Marc at Tarantula made eye covers for evil M's.

I'm sure I missed a few people. It's getting an answer that's the trick.

honestly man, im sure all those just just eyeballed it.. its not a "rocket science" type of part, hell you can make them out of aluminium plate, just mill the recesses for the detents and eye wires, and the holes for the screws after you cut them to shape

theres no need for critical tolerances on them

Yeah but the machinist doesn't have a set of eyes or detents so he has nothing to go by to mill the recesses...

Thanks. However, Marc from TarantulaMfg sent me his drawing of his eye covers. Looks like I'm good to go now.
