Viking/Excal/Merlin tornado valve O.D.?
Hi, I have an... idea, but need some answers.

What is the O.D. of a Viking/Excal/Merlin tornado valve?

Thank you much!

they are different. Vike vs Merlin.

I can get you the OD of an Excal one this week if no-one has it handy beforehand , mine has a valve leak and it requires removal.

They all use the same valve, its the same size as a spyder valve, around 5/8 I can try to go and messure one in teh shop after I put my son down for his nap.

ahg, thanks man, I thought the cocker one was different.

Cocker tornado is different. Merlin tornado is the full blown viking style. Spyder size as bartman said.

BTW Evan, AKA made a limited run of Typhoon Valves, but who knows where they are today, if anywhere.

Is the autococker Trilogy valve the same O.D. as a Vike/Excal/Merlin valve?

I heard somewhere that it was.

Thanks again.

I dug out my merin project box (ML0088) and the valve measures .0686". Does that help anyone?

Yup, would like another verification just in case they changed diameters somewhere along the line. Thanks for the quick answer spymongoose.

hey while everyone has thier merlins/excals/vikings torn apart, did they change the length of the valve spring? mine is almost 2.2" is that normal for aka guns?
