Return of the Viking....... nearly finished!

MCB needs more AKA love. So I thought Id share the pics of my progress.

This is how it all began. The donor body was one of two super-Halfmill's that AKA did in 2004. (The milling lines are deeper than normal.) I bought it brand new from Jared at DC. He cut both of the super-halfmill's differently so each is truly a unique piece.

Quad detents, Tadao, CP on/off and rail, Sidewinder, FBM feedneck, JMJ Nervous trigger were added.....

From there it was off to FBM for dose of purple ano.

Eventually the Robtown valve was released and I was getting bored. So I decided to add a few new parts and put her back under Jared's knife.

Froth Easy Double trigger

Tarantula vert frame

Bullet nose cap for LPR

Also added an Orbium barrel kit and 2-Liter reg and CP mini on/off.....

Halfmill lines milled into butt crack.

Frame work: Dovetail for direct mount ASA, frame diet, trigger guard slotted and snatch grip removed.

I had Kruger from AO make these 90* panels from Afzelia Burl to accent the ano.

And the coupe de grace: Gloss bronze/black acid wash ano by Gruntbull.

So now its just a matter of a couple weeks (hopefully

) until the final assembly/tuning is done. Have no doubt, Ill add more pics.

That Viking was sexy before and now it is indescribable. Except for the grip frame, that is hands down the hottest Viking I have ever seen, that makes my 4 custom Vikings pale in comparison

I liked it better this way...

Never cared for the bullet cap, bronze /black ano or 90* frame.
But hell, as long as your happy it doesn't really matter what other people think.

Yeah, a lot of people really liked the purple. But my wife is the one who picked the color originally. I always thought it deserved something a little flashier. Its kind of like the exact opposite of my FireMag.

I liked the Burgandy anno. I have saved a pic of it! The new one is also nice!

Did you get the stock frame anno'd to match too? I'm honestly not a fan of the Vert. frame, but I won't hold it against your gorgeous Viking

No, I gave that frame to Jared.

.45 frames are great for hand guns but suck for paintball IMO.
