I locally purchased a WGP cocker with a 88/4500 tank, pods/belt, boomstick, red clear barrel and mask for $100 the guns just have no (reliable) resale value, it's just a matter of if someone happens to see it and decide that the have to have it no matter what.

See, the autococker actually devalued that package

The cocker is already sold for $90 to so once I get it hydro tested I'll have a working tank plus all the other goodies for about $25

Guys,

I was just up at AKALMP picking up some parts and they had roughly 50 Merlin bodies sitting on the shelf with various milling.

If you're looking for one, call Eileen at AKALMP. Larry mentioned that he may start another run of them soon.

Of course they still have them. The last time I emailed them about a merlin they wanted something like $300 for a body with lower internals.

They still have NEW complete Vikings and Excals, along with Merlins parts in stock, along with a whole wack of spare parts, and tool kits at AKA.
Also after reading this thread I'm really surprised that no one on here even remembered that Merlins have almost 2x's the air chamber space for the valve tube, meaning they will have to be shot at some seriously ridiculous speed to get shoot down with a good reg feeding them. That combined with the wire detent, AKA threaded feednecks, AKA regs and some cool milling means they deserve the money they earn for their sellers.

Most merlins have basically boxy milling. None of them came with AKA regs except revenges which came with KAPP LPR's most if not all of the time..

They are good because of the aka goodness and the good feednecks most of them had.
