n00bie question of the day, test your Viking knowledge!

I just bought a Highlander Viking off Ebay.

What do I need to upgrade?

Would a 2 liter reg perform better than the Sidewinder?

Do I need to lube it or is a oil in the ASA kinda gun?

Do I need a special tool to take apart the LPR?

That other thing on there (Mighty Max?) a volumizer?

What are some good pressures to run it at?

What about board settings?

Anything better than a Tadao board?

Someone write a Viking FAQ (Hiumarx Im looking at you, you dirty viking pimp).

You SOB
A. Get a better cocker barrel, however a true gunwhore doesn't need to. That Viking is fully loaded so it needs nothing but paint and lots of people to shoot at.
B. Yes, but you will never outshoot the sidewinder with current hopper technology.
C. 3 Drops in the ASA and a drop or 2 on the bolt is all you need.
D. For that one, no you don't. If you want to adjust the pressure, you will need an 04 Viking toolkit to do it properly. If it is working fine I will come over and smack you upside the head for messing with it
E. The Mighty Max(Volumizer) really doesn't help that much, its just there to keep the SCM(LPR) company. Most people prefer the DC Volumizer cause it is almost the same length as the SCM(LPR).
F. If the screw is flush on the bottom of the sidewinder, it is approximately 200 psi. Adjust the psi to adjust the velocity. Clockwise is down, counter-clockwise is up.
G. Board Setting? Well make sure the Dwell is 10, the debounce is around 2, and I set the rate of fire to unlimited. You can put on the PSP or NXL modes if you want.
H. I don't think there is a better Viking board than the Tadao, if you find one, I will buy the Tadao board from you
I. I no longer plan on training people on the ways of the Viking, nothing good has ever come of it

Honestly, as far as the Titanium longbow went, it wasn't any better than any other ol cocker threaded barrel kit. I was told that it made sparks from time to time. I prefer a .693 bore cause all of the cheap POS paint I get my hands on are freakin huge. I love my Lapco Big Shots and my carbon fiber barrels. Perhaps a trade might be possible in the near future

Only a true savage can master the Viking.

Congrats on the purchase. I wanted that but didn't have the cash. At least it's still in the family.
