Javelin Barrel Mods.

Is there someone on here who can bore out my 12" Javelin to a .695 and fit it to take freak inserts?

other than maintaining the AKA look and the ability to match paint, why? sorry, i am a longtime SP hater, so don't take offense to this, i just can't understand how you would want to ruin a barrel like that.

but for a machinist, any one could do it. all you would need is the proper measurements for the diameter, length of the insert, in relation the barrel and where it is to be placed. any decent one can mill it. talk to Ken at K&P Customs. does great work.

Well honestly, I was stripping the anodizing and there was a large amount of material left in the bore. Needless to say, the barrel looks trashed. I figure I might as well do this mod so I can make the barrel useful again. That and my Deadlywind Barrels work great.

okay, understood. what about doing a tip, if there isn't enough meat to use the inserts?
