threads on AKA adjusting screw for DM3 LPR

I got asked to fix and mod a DM3 and it has an AKA LPR on it. The allen wrench hole on the adjusting screw is nicely rounded so I am planning on just using one of my easy outs to get it out and just replace it with a regular screw if possible. I haven't taken it out yet so I don't know for sure if I can just replace it with a simple screw. Does anyone know if I can do this and does anyone know the thread size?
