Well, I think I'm out of ideas.

Battery = new.
AKA SST Reg = new.
Lubed and cycled.
Good barrel/paint match.
Tested with Dwell from 10 to 18.

Won't shoot above 245. Might be time for a visit to the Doctor, once Jared is up and running again.

1) I would get a guage and test the LPR making sure it is set at 72 psi, take it apart and check the internals also.
2) New battery may be bad out of the box...lots of these coming from China these days.
3) Could be something with the noid or the board.

Are you asking for pics of my velocity issues, Jack?
Okay, if you squint a little you can almost imagine paintballs coming out of the barrel very slowly.

Well there's your problem.
Its clear the paint balls don't want to leave such an awesome gun so they're trying to hold on inside the barrel. i.e low velocity.
Send it to me, i'll scuff it up and your problems are solved

What he said... But we're friends, and thus makes me a much more deserving candidate.

Although I have little doubt in either of your abilities in the scuffing up department, I have resigned myself to wait for another good friend to get back from vacation and settle back in. Jared can take some time over the winter months to tune her back up and I will have more time to enjoy the T2. Thanks very much for the offers though!

i noticed on your list of thning you did, you didnt say anything about the lpr.. id suggest cleaning it and lubing it, could have a cocked piston,

also, even if you dont have an LPR guage, you can check to see if the lpr is your problem by giving the lpr a 1/4 turn in and seeing if that affects your velocity at all

very nice PBX. never seen that one before, though i still miss your streamline

True, I have not messed with the LPR. With past Vikings all issues were solved by the few variables listed above. I can give it a try, but won't have access to a chrono for a while as I wait out the winter so I won't know the result.

Thanks. This is my last and most customized AKA baby. It started as a diamond dust PBX but that finish had issues with pitting. Jared did the custom milling and handled the custom anno I designed. I think it went to FBM.

Not sure which one you are missing, but it might have been the molten lava featherlight swirl? I donated that one last year to the Adam fundraiser over at PBN/AKA. I also sent them my prized 1 of 1 classic custom Houndstooth. I find that as I am getting older I no longer need to be a gun whore and have been giving back as much as possible. Between my son and I we are down to a handful of markers.
