Id have to say that .43 vs .43 eraser is pretty fun provided you are using rap4 paint. I have also had troubles with the kingman training .43 rounds breaking in the mag. The eraser is ideal for cqb if youre into shooting quietly and breaking engagement.

While I dont own an 8.1 I have shot an 8 and it would be a lot nicer to have the .68 in open field skirmish.

I do not have experiences with Eraser or .43" cal paint.
I do not have experiences with Firstrike rounds.
But i have experiences with Tiberius Tac-8... and some other pistols (PGP, PGP2, ZGP-94, 3357, ZXS-200, Overlord).

I do not think that Tac-8 is reliable. He can be reliable in some conditions, but in other he break the paint, even high-quality first class paint (in some conditions he does so approximately with 10% of shoots)... and like in case of other blow-front markers the cleaning is then *******. The barrel you can clean easily, but when is the paint in bolt (what is common)... Commonly I have played only one or two games with my Tac-8 in a day, commonly I eliminated here 3-4 people per game, but then have break and I was forced to swith to my "back up" tunned PGP... then the losses on the enemy side :-) were sightly smaller but the PGP have worked in every possible conditions and the game was the same fun for me everytime... with lower costs.

Tac-8 is great SA-pistol. Two regs (main + safety reg) helping with efficiency and accuracy greatly. But the stock barrel ID is to big to common paint (it is .691" like in cheap stock Spyder barrels), the sights are to rough and the trigger is to long and "airsoftish". Mags are expensive, they hold small amount of paint, thier refilling is slow and you waste some gas with every change. Tiberius is great for gunfights, but he is not perfect. It is more likely duel than field weapon.

When you will have best efficiency between of paintball SA-pistols and the ability to swith the CO2 simultaneously with the paint (when you are not low on money), buy Tac-8. But when you will have reliable SA-pistol, go with some Spyder based (stacked tube blow back) pistol.
