I recently purchased a PMI USP pistol for $10 with the understanding that it leaked, which i was fine with. I'm 90% certain that the cup seal is messed up and needs to be cleaned /replaced but i can't seem to get the valve body out of the receiver. Does anyone have any experience with this marker that could shed some light on the removal process? I removed all the screws and whatnot but there seems to be some trick to pushing the valve out the back that I don't know.

Try a pencil, use the eraser end or a battle swab. Also make sure the valve retainer screw on the underside of the receiver has been removed. If the valve is still stuck, the valve orings are swollen, then you need to put the gun in the freezer for 10-15 mins then try again.

The problem is that I can't push from the other end. The 12gr piercing pin is pretty firmly attached from what i can tell so i have to push on it through the hole for the retainer screw. i'll try putting it in the freezer. thanks for the help.

Make sure both screws are out and try to push it out from where the striker is with a dowel

I managed to get it out. I didn't realize that the 12gr piercer would come out too so i just pushed it all through. Seems that the problem isn't the cup seal at all, but may be the fact that the valve spring is too soft or the drive spring is too loose. I'm out of 12ies though so i'll have to find that out later.
