Got my Viper today. Pic is from ironchef. Will have more this weekend. It all started with an e-mail a day before Thanksgiving and ended today. When I found out Mr. Rick was making markers again, I contacted him about accepting a build request. After exchanging numerous e-mails about ideas, in which he sent photos of markers for ideas, we came to an agreement. Two big things I wanted was to use the Assaultline stock and run it on HPA with a hardline, as I wanted to use it in the winter time here in Maryland. Wanted the stereotypical long barrel that I associate with RTP guns, but Mr. Rick suggested a shorter barrel so as to avoid barrel breaks. It is 13" from tip to center of the feed. The marker also has spring return. And it has the CP on/off so that when the the tank is turned off, the whole gun and airline is degassed before the tank is removed. Once we reached an agreement, I told him there was no need to update me on the build, and I didnot give him a timetable in which to complete the build. Of course, he ignored me and sent progress pics/updates and the turnaround was almost 2 months. And as needed, he asked questions as the build progressed. I think the best way to describe the whole experience is like this; I think I know how a person feels when he first sees his '28 Ford hotrod when Boyd Coddington delivers it to him. This is an all custom build, just like a hotrod. Now if he could stuff a Hemi in the bottom tube, everything would be right in the world. I look forward to working with Mr Rick in the future. Have no fear in dealing with him. One of the most pleasant people to deal with. We are looking into another build and we are bouncing ideas off each other right now. Just have to save money for the build now. And one final word; Mr Rick kicks a.ss!

I think you should post this in the review section skipjack . Seeing your build inspired me to buy an assaultline stock I feel they are really ergonomic.
