Cocker/sniper I.D.

The serial number is in the high 900's, not sure if its a sniper or what (I'm told its a sniper). Whats the aproximate age, and maybe worth? I'll post pictures soon. Thanks.

What he said.

If it's a full size WGP body then it's a Sniper for sure though.

Its a full size body. After market ASA, benchmark frame, and stock class feed. Any Idea on value? Should have pictures in about 2-3 days.

Just to give you an idea of age, my Sniper II is SN 2992 and was purchased in December of 1989. Of course, your's being modified up negates much of the value as a collectible, unless you have the original parts.

Sounds like this one.

It would have zero collector value IMHO. That gun has been through the ringer.

It may still be a decent shooter though.

any cocker pump has come to be known as a "sniper" cocker.

If I remember correctly, the original snipers barrel went through the pump handle, like on a phantom. and did not have detents at all.
Yours looks like a milled body too, and def been reannoed. so who knows, that sn is all you can go by. the body has also had the site rail milled off and the right feed tube removed to put that phantom stick feed on the top (I have a body that has had the same mod, lol). not original vert asa, back block, bolt, frame, cocking rod, barrel. looks like someones custom job.
value is very difficult to say. find one that has the same features as yours that has sold..

Definitely nowhere near original.... Here's #774, it didn't come with a sight rail..

On the other hand, it should be a nice shooter.....

Enjoy,

Nope. Sniper 3's had that feature.

Sniper 1's, some 2's, and early cockers all came without detents.

Sniper 1 bodies did not have a milled site rail. The site rail was bolted on.

Just some corrections.
