I picked up a Nitro Duck Mega Reg 45/45 about a year and a half ago, I like the tank except for how heavy the reg is, and would rather have a screw in. I took it to a pro shop and asked them if they could swap that reg with a Nitro Duck X-Stream reg and they said that "The threads for the Mega Reg differ from the threads on other regs and so this would not be possible." As I were to understand it, the threading was made universal, but I'm no expert. Is this correct or did they just not feel like swapping the regs for me? Thanks guys!

I have a Chrome-Moly 16oz that reads "DOT-E8096-1800-M1060-1199M" I believe this to be one of the Scott Hydro exempt tanks but I am only guessing the "1199" refers to 11 of 1999 as a Manufacture date. Also, the last 9 is very faint and could be a 0, which had me concerned it is beyond 15years. Questions-Does anyone know if Scott renewed the exemption in 2005, and does anyone know when these where manufactured? Am I correct about the date/year stamp on the tank? I'm not worried about the safety of the tank as it has no damage other than superficial scratches and has been used consistantly the last couple years with no problems or leaks, just watching my P's and Q's.

| Not a Furry | http://hazmat.dot.gov/sp_app/special...000/E08096.pdf Found here RSPA Specifies as a 3E bottle - no test required (15yr life span) Has an expiration date of June 30,2007 but I am unsure if this only applies only to the actual manufacture of the bottles or also bottles in circulation. Canadian Regulations in pdf file. It's ver 4, not the current ver 5, but the tanks we commonly use have not changed at all. Link: http://www.paintballcity.org/paintba...py/B339-02.pdf Wook
