Decent modern reg for CO2 use

Tired of my PPS regs, they have been nothing but trouble, and will soon be sold or traded. My Air America Vigilante hasn't given me any issues, but seals and service are nil.

Whats the word on a good reg for CO2? I have 1 setup thats AS, and it would be going on my cocker.

Should I go sidewinder?

I'm looking for something that wont break the bank, and could be pulled off to work on a variety of guns should I feel the notion, and not fear the occasional liquid.

Give a sidewinder a shot.

The bob long regs are decent, basically a copy of a pps reg, and then the CP regs are very popular <who knows why> basically a copy of the bob long reg..so they are both decent.

Id go with an AKA reg because they are ergonomical and I dont really consider custom products to be regulator makers, i consider them economy 1 piece barrel makers so i dont know..id just rather run something else.

Id go AKA but i think a sidewinder would be a good reg too, heck even WGP ergo regs arent bad. Also centerflag makes good regs, their mini is nice if you can find one..not many online places have them.

Cp regs are hardly the same as torpedos..

Take them apart its a whole different system.. Torps have large coil springs whole CP's have a small shim spring stack.. among other changes..

Maybe you got the Hybrid regs and torpedo regs cofused.. there the same exact thing to the oring

I have a torpedo around here, maybe I can get that up and running, never used it. I wont touch a WGP reg with a 10' pole, every gun I have had one on has swings of +/- 10fps, not acceptable.

(What i really need around the house is a chrony...)

I'd buy a chrony instead of the reg and clean/refurbish/re-build/send-in your Stabs. You shouldn't be having such problems with those Stabs IMO. Best CO2 reg there is. I've never had a problem with my Stabs... and I've got like 9 or something.
You sure it's not user/re-builder error?

If you REALLY need a new reg... I'd go AKA Sidewinder.

Yeah, maybe if he laid off the sake while doing gun work.... he must think he's one of those japanese sword smiths who drink all day and produce master pieces. Sorry bro... we've seen you after drinking for a couple hours... no way you can drink and do gun work... let alone walk around.
