DM LCD Feed Neck Question:

Does anyone know any tricks to get the feedneck on a DM LCD off? I've got a new clamping low-rise coming from shocktech soon and need to get the sucker off.

That said, does anyone have any experience with the freeflow bolt kit for the LCD?

if it's threaded, then strap wrenches work:

or if you don't mind, a regular wrench will work as well. But... it will leave scratches.

Thanks, I already got it off though. It was a clamping feedneck, so I just put a butter knife in between the "fingers" of metal that come up and are covered by the screw-down top. Took a bit of torque as it was in with blue loc-tite.

I came up with a good way of removing feednecks.
If the "tighten a loder and twist" trick doesn't work then I just tape the feedneck with electrical tape (lots of layers) and twist it open with a wrench. Strapwrench would be great but I never remember to buy one nor do I have any other use for it.
