It will also be able to be hand carried on the field. Q already has the plans for a small backpack to hold the battery pack that runs the MK-19. A remote air tank hookup and a belt that would be basically a 10-12 shot loop. It has handles on it already, and I can wield it very comfortably if needed. The gun weighs 45 lbs.. The box rack complete with full belt, battery and air tanks weighs in at 60 lbs. That's 105 lbs up top. I haven't weighed the frame or the wheels yet. The wheels are pretty heavy. There is an idea to have three points to carry it over rough terrain, in that case I may use skid plates instead of the wheels. That should reduce the overall weight and help keep control of it on steep ground. I plan on having the option for wheels or skids to be determined by the terrain of the field. A field like Blanding (paved streets = wheels). |
