Typhoon leaks *Pics Added*

I got my first Typhoon today. I knew that it had a leak, but know I know where. It leaks air around the front grip frame screw. Any ideas on what it might be?

Also, when I gassed it up I couldn't pull back the bolt to cock it. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Most leaks in a PPS gun can be fixed by putting a LOT of oil through the gun.

Are you holding the trigger in as you air up the gun? That's typically the PPS procedure.

Try to pin point the leak with some soap and water so we know exactly where its coming from. If its coming from close to the front grip screw,it might be leaking from the vert asa or from the valve retaining screw, the front ram hose is close also. Some of the leaks are an easy fix, some are not.

I found the leak. It is NOT from the grip frame screw. It is from the (forgive me if my term is wrong) UEF that is under the foregrip. Where the tube goes in seems messed up. I will try to get pictures up tomorrow.

Could this be as easy as just swapping out that piece? How easy is it to replace the tubing? Mine is green and I would prefer clear or black.

As for lot of oil and fire lots. I can do lots of oil, but the gun wouldn't cycle. I can get it to fire once only if I cock it before adding air. It will not recock itself. Ideas?

The UEF, high flow elbow,is an easy fix and may not cost anything to fix depending on where its leaking. The only bummer would be if the threads going into the LPR were bad.

It is leaking where the barb goes in here:

Typhoon_3.jpg

Can I just unscrew this one and replace it with this part from PPS?

Also, looking at the grip in this picture, does the spring look right? The extra solder is to hold the spring in place I believe. The sleeve on one of the barbs is not tight. I assume I can just push it back in place?

Typhoon_5.jpg

What is this part called and what is it's use?

Typhoon_4.jpg

Thanks!

And yes, those parts are painted bright blue. And no, I don't know why.

Yes, but first try pushing the hose further onto the barb, or snip the hose right behind the barb, pull off the hose on the barb, and shove the cleanly cut end on.

Yes, and see above.

That part is an external adjusting knob for the Rock regulator.
