who has used these and do they work ok?

are these any good for paintball/woodsball use?
are they durable?
are they worth the price tag?
are they quieter than regular shoes or cleats?

They're fun and definitely an attention getter. On the plus side they're light and provide a lot of flexibility and tactile sense when you run. What might not be good, is that they are designed so you run naturally with the ball of your foot not the heel so it takes a bit of getting used to. I don't know about using them for paintball as that they lack the support that a boot would provide against rocks/roots/etc. Comparing with other running shoes, they're reasonably priced.

saturday i was cornered (guys to my fornt and left) and there was an X shaped bunker. there was a tree in the middle of the X ( + = tree +X) and i was sitting down, pinned up against that tree but my feet were sticking out. i got shot a couple of times in the bottom of my foot but none of them broke, they just hurt really, really bad

I'd love to try a set, but support against the terrain is what worries me. It would be a drastic change from my other non-paintball shoes. MBTs MBT Footwear

Ehh not bad when you get them on sale. But not $20 either. They make a huge difference for me when walking long distances. NOT good for running however.
