Has anyone used/bought a 5oz or 7oz tanks from RAP4/RealAction Paintball?

Hello everyone, I would like to ask if anyone here has purchased one of the 5oz or 7oz CO2 tanks from RAP4?

5oz CO2 Tank Cylinder with On/Off Valve (Empty)

7oz CO2 Cylinder with On/Off Valve (Empty)

Are they just like any other CO2 tank?
Have you had any trouble with filling them up?
Are they stamped DOT3AL 1800?
Are they heavier than a standard 9oz?
Did you actually order them from RealActioin Paintball? or did you buy them somewhere else?

I know Rap4 got into some trouble over the Qian-wie tanks they were importing. They were not DOT certified.

But the tanks you listed look like standard co2 tanks. Should be safe, though with the controvercy, it might be worth sending them an email.

I did not know about the tanks that were not DOT certified.

They do state "Made with pride, made in USA."

The trouble HP was referring to was with some of their older tanks meant for HPA if I recall correctly.

I'd guess it would be volume. They make and sell tens of thousands of 20oz. tanks. 5oz. tanks not as many, so you have to pay more for tooling/production on each piece.

Isn't that a 13ci bottle? That would explain the price...

Bringing this one back from the dead.

Does anyone have experience with the 5oz tanks specifically and can anyone confirm that they are similar to (or exactly) a 13/3 bottle? I'm considering picking one up for a project where I would like to have a few more shots than my 3.5oz tanks will give me.
