SodaStream CO2 bottle threads?

Does anyone know the exact threading of a Soda Stream CO2 bottle? It appears to be ACME threaded or square threaded? I want to make an adapter to use paintball CO2 bottles instead of paying $22 to refill my girlfriend's 15oz bottle..

Valve removed from tank body:

Can't find the specs, but it looks tons of adapters are available. Even palmers

If you can't get the spec. How about just using the sodastream valve you have now and adapting it to a remote line to use any tank you want?

I dont think you guys understand, that adapter is to use a soda stream bottle on a Paintball ASA. I'm looking for the other way around, a soda stream male fitting, with a female paintball ASA threaded end, so i can use paintball CO2 tanks on our Soda Stream machine.

Unfortunately that won't work, as the Soda Stream female end (and it's made out of PLASTIC.....) still requires Soda Stream threads, I would need a male Soda Stream head for the remote line. I want to make my own ASA on my lathe, but I don't know the threads, and I am a beginner and don't know how to measure the square threads properly.

I posted a pic of the threads at the end of the bottle in the original post.

After some searching, I did find a website of a guy making adapters...for a pretty steep price though!

In case anyone else was wondering:

Yeah I think it's industrial grade... Even though here a guy claims that it's the container that matters more so than the gas itself.
