That's certainly an option. I'll give it a try this weekend. However, being a new cocker person I need to get a beaver tail - I already whacked my lens good. The 9oz tank kept the gun far enough away from my face to protect my lens.

I suppose I could mount the 3.5 vert and put my gas through stock in the ASA.

Whacking yourself with the back block is the first step to cocker enlightenment. But you won't achieve the second level of enlightenment until you've pinched something with the backblock. I've already managed to put a bruise on my finger when I was checking something and stupidly let the trigger go. And I heard that someone was test firing with no shirt and managed to pinch his nipple between the back block and body...... Now THAT would make your eyes sweat....

well, it's a pump - so I'm going to have to really concentrate on jamming the pump forward really hard so that I can get a good bruise on whatever is between the back block and the body.

I did install a return spring inside the pump handle - so that should help get a little more momentum...
