Tippmann C3 air not going through AsA

I have the ASA off and have tried screwing a propane tank in to see if air went through (probably not the smartest things I've done),
yet nothing happens. There seems to be an adjustment for the regulator near the front side of the ASA but I'm not sure if it is the problem.

Ok, apparently the reg was just shut closed, but now the gun pumps the propane in, just to exhaust it on the second pump, and fires randomly. I'm going to try adjusting the reg/spring and post results.

Well I just put a new seal I made out of an inflatable kayak material that is similar to the original, which turns out had a hole in it. The new material is holding pretty well, although I think I'm hearing a slight leak in the same area.
After tightening the spring on the reg, I've managed to get it operational.

The shots are not consistent, but extremely accurate in comparison to my Pro-Lite.
