Screw Sizes (Dun Dun Dunnn)

Hey guys, I could use a little help.

I am (still) building my Sniper, and I know that most of it is 10/32 screws. What about the .45 grip screws? Anyone know?

Thanks,
Dave

Depending on the frame and grips used, it can also be 6/32 and shorter than 3/8" in length.

you can always just bring the relevant part into the store to match. my local ace hardware allows it. they say i can bring the whole gun in, but i always take just the part to avoid... "confusion," to put it plainly.

Same here. I had to do that to get the right sizes for the nelson and brought it only what was necessary and nothing more.

I've brought in the whole gun before, both at Ace and Menards, but in a case. Someone might freak out if I started walking up to the store with something that vaguely resembles a firearm. But bringing the part at least to the hardware store is the best way to find your screws.

Okay, that's helpful. Thanks guys. When I go to Home Depot (only close hardware store... except maybe Lowes) to get the screws, I'll just take my slider frame with me....

Well when I asked you, you just said "Uh whatever 1911 grips screws are", so I thought I'd let the general public have a say.
