halo odyssey eyes reversed??

So i grabbed a used halo odyssey and am modding it into a box mag... but im having issues with the eyes i think. If the path of the eyes is unobstructed then the cone doesnt spin, as soon as there is something in the way then it spins. Does this sound right or are the function of my eyes reversed? if they are how do i fix it?

i have been informed this is a bounce beam, not a break beam loader.

That shouldn't change anything, should it?

No it wont change a thing essentially they work the same the eyes just have to be in a tube tha is all and as long as you are using the stock raceway there shouldnt be any issue.

Haven't used the exact device in question, but questions based on experience with similar equipment:

How exactly is the bounce-beam setup? Is it by any chance missing a reflector, and you just happened to be using highly reflective paint/whatever to block the channel?

I had installed the eyes into a different adapter for a box mag configuration and foolishly located them opposite each other... because of this they weree seeing each other constantly. I relocated the eyes into an angled configuration and it appears to be working now.

Thanks all for the help!
