Is it bounce?

You know that faint popping sound, followed by that springy sound that all PPS brass produce after the trigger snap?
I wondered why, and how they're markers are the only ones that do it.
Is it mainly the valve spring that's used that causes this? Or are there other factors at work here?

A bounce would be a second, smaller pop. A short 'Spyder fart', sorta.

The 'springy sound' is just Sheridan Character(TM).

I think it's caused because the spring is relatively stiff and connected to a body that is in essence a really badly designed trombone. I think Spyders and 'cockers would have it, too, but the springs are softer and larger--and thus vibrate slower and less powerfully--and are dampened by thicker aluminum walls.

This is strange then DM. I recently switched out the instapiercing valve stem with a shoot to pierce, and that bouncy sound is no where to be heard. I did however noticed the valve makes for a snugger fit.
I must say the marker performs better since it doesn't leak anymore due to the fact I couldn't get a good powerlet to chamber face plug contact. My shot count is now close to thirty at below 260fps. I think I deserve a few more though.
Using stiffer springs has not helped with this, regardles of the great ball to bore match I've got, and Leland 12g's
