| . Join Date: May 2006 |  thread pitch of tank threads and where do i get the tap? Hi, What is the thread pitch of the co2 tank valve part that screws into the gun? Where can I get this tap? I have some vm-68 VMX vertical adapters that need retapped to clean out the burrs. My tanks won't screw in all the way and these tanks are pristine. Smiley |

| Post Whore  Join Date: May 2006 Location: Valrico, Florida | It's a 1/2NPS tap. Not NPT--it's a straight pipe tap, not a taper.

| Post Whore Join Date: May 2006 Location: Valrico, Florida | Imported NPS straight pipe tap For tank threads, you'll need two--a starter, and one ground down for to bottom the threads.
