| MCB Member | Velocity Adjustment on a Grey Spirit Well, I received my Grey Spirit today. I am very pleased with the over all apperance of the gun. There are two things about it that I have questions with. 1. How do you change (can you) the velocity? -The internals remind me of my old Spartan. The Spartan came with a long rod that was used to change the velocity. It looks like that may be how you do it here. 2. Did they come stock without a pin depresser in the asa? -The guy included two tanks, both with on/offs. I thought that was nice and then I noticed that the asa does not have a post to depress the pin on a tank. There are three holes in the asa and the middle one is threaded. I had a VM that had a set screw threaded into the center of the asa to push the pin down. Is that what this gun would need as well. Thanks all for the good info. *I am not at home or I would include pictures. The box arrived as I was packing up the trip to visit my father-in-law for the weekend. I of course took it with me. |

| Pump Gun Dealer | Yes, the Phantom adjuster with the black plastic piece removed works perfectly to adjust the LAPCO bolt. The ASA does require a long setscrew in it to act as a pin depressor. They came stock with this, so yours got lost somewhere along the way. Congrats on the acquisition by the way. I just recently picked up a Grey Spirit myself and I quite enjoy it. It's one of the smoothest and most well made guns in my collection. |
