| Post Whore Join Date: Sep 2006 | Thank you! It was done in the 90's before the current "mil-sim / scenario" craze, so parts weren't as readily available to turn my A-M into something more realistic looking. But with the help of a local gun show I was able to purchase the HK foregrip and modified it enough to slide over the A-M body.

| Post Whore Join Date: Sep 2006 | Since at the time I didn't have personal access to a mill, Uncle Earon helped me cut the dovetail slots for the rear sight and ran his ball end for the scallops. I can't recall if he sent out the rail for annodizing for me or if I did it myself (sending it out). Other then that me or another teammate of mine did the rest of the work. Plus the owner of Check It Products hooked me up w/ the: SS barrel, bolt, velocity knob, etc. The other hard part was moving the back bottle to a verticle adaptor set up. At the time A-M's only came with the bottle in the rear position. Mini's and other variations hadn't been released yet. |
