Aluminum Side Plates It does have a cupseal leak, but at this time I don't have a valve tool.... It does cycle fine, other than that.... Walker

Removed the valve and lapped the cup seal. No leak now.... I do need to rotate the valve to a smaller port though. It's on the largest one, and doesn't recock reliably.... <sigh, got to take it apart again> Once I have it cocking reliably, I'll put it up for sale..... Walker

They were on the non-ambi PMI3s, so hard to imagine how they ended up here. FOr the leak, just drop oil into the ASA, and most leaks go away. Or, pop out the valve, and sand the valve face smoother. To get the valve out without the tool, remove the internals, then remove the valve screws, then screw on a tank and the valve will shoot out like a rocket! nick

The VM-Mags were all black, with a raised siterail, thumbscrews, and the backbottle used banjos, that ran to a sidetap on the valve. They might just be one of Chris Maders aftermarket ones? nick
