VM-68 Velocity help

How do you adjust the velocity on these things. I used mine all weekend and couldn't chrono above 220. I just made sure I was close enough to hit the other team. Any help with this would be great. Thanks!!!

Check the FAQ on VM86.com.... It's a down the barrel/valve adjustment...

Use an allen wrench to adjust the velocity down the bolt. Also, to adjust it in larger increments, turn the valve. check the VM FAQ like Walker suggested.

As mentioned above, make sure the valve is at "12", and bolt is all the way "in".

If the FPS is still low, check these things:
Make sure bolt is at a "click", or the exposed bearing will add drag
Make sure orings are not bloated or frayed.
Make sure detent is not frayed or stretched
Make sure cupseal is VM-style, not COCKER-style
Make sure valve screws are right length.
Make sure transfer port screw is right length
Make sure spring guide is not missing
Make sure internals are spotless clean WITH ONLY LIGHT coating of oil.
Make sure aftermarket barrel is not too tight.

Could be lots of things. A quick fix is to add a couple dimes behind the mainspring, or nickels if using a proshop kit. Or use a siphon tank. Sometimes just removing the valve spring is enough of a boost to FPS.

Beyond that, "bigger" fixes are to drill the 3-clock hole to a size larger then the 12-clock. This was a VERY common mod, though does not work with the earliest PMI3's.
If your VM has a cocker cupseal, might be a tough thing to find a replacement.
