I've been met with very helpful and friendly owners (ctownca) and I have been teased and taunted by others. I've recently been in contact with someone who was selling a "Duck" I'm a little skeptical of it's heritage however after seeing the pics. It does look like a custom Carter Box Gun *to me* but I have been known to be wrong every so often so I thought I'd ask before putting my neck out there. I've asked for high res pics of the sides, but of these pics what do you guys think this is and what it's worth? ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance for the assistance guys, I appreciate it. |

Most of the Super Stocks were sold through I & I Sports. back in the mid 90's. I think that I have an old APG from 96 that has an ad for I&I will the Boxgun. Orginal selling for only $375 if my memory is correct. The bore size is also .693 as advertised from I&I. You will need big paint to shoot well. Most high grade paint today just rolls right out of my barrel. Another thing, be careful of the sights. They are just glued on. Mine fell off during a game. I send half of the day searching for it in the woods. Finally found it lucky me. Just make sure the glue is still holding the sight on ok. Just a tip from a fellow pump. I just sold my duck recently myself. I kind of regret it, but I am still getting me Redux with a few extra goodies with custom plating so no worries. If you don't want it, I have a fellow pumper that might want a CIP. Later Tim |

I am still very interested in this, as I do want to have a boxgun in my collection. I am looking at getting a redux as well, just the uncertainty of the release dates is what I get impatient about. It'd be nice to have one with all the options one would want. I am new to the history of pumps, it's always good to tap into these history lessons once in awhile. |

| MCB Member Join Date: Sep 2006 | Just for some small clarification... Earon Cater helped make the original gun that Check-It Products would later mass produce as their Box/Super Stock paintgun. A member of the Kamikaze Shooter was slightly dissatisfied w/ his Stock DD68. He took a Duck lower, barrel, etc. and had Earon mill the top pump handle etc. Glen from CIP later used this gun to take specs from as he went about making his version. BTW: The original CIP's had Uncle Mike grips. I still recall CIP setting up their account w/ UM's. The sites were originally created for CIP by the same owner of the original gun. He both made the model for the sights, casted them, etc. |

| Pumper | Interesting... never knew about the CPI markers. I have a new Carter Box-gun. ![]() It has milled in adjustable Millett sights. The barrel (made by Sanchez from what I have heard) is a .688 or so, haven't measured it yet. I shoots great and the smaller paint did not roll out. Peace
