Huge X-Chamber? What is this beast?

Alright boys... What is this and when was it made!!!? I'm pretty sure I've seen one like this on a VM before.... But I'm just really curious as when it was made and what brand it is. I KNOW you guys know...so, please...tell me

I just took it apart tonight, pretty interesting...

Well... I suppose that if you're desparate to use CO2 and ensure that it's completley in gaseous form by the time it hits the back reg......

I played on a team called the murdock devil dogs in ks and some of our guys had those on their mags. If I recall correctly they ran them for when they had to change co2 tanks on the field. The chamber would hold enough co2 for a few shots during the tank change.

isn't that an original Smart Parts "low line"(?) expansion chamber?

My old SP catalogs have ones that look the same size but do not have the knurling on them...

Reminds me of the "Micro Knight" expansion chamber my 'Mag came with.
It's basically a 3.5oz CO2 tank mounted vertically as a foregrip & used asan expansion chamber.
Worked quite well too unless you shot downwards enough to fill it.
