Are you running C02 or HPA?

Hpa with a regular high pressure output. I might try my old school tank with the 800psi output.
I guess I should try it with 12ies and I would like to find a 4oz co2 also

You're going to need an HPA tank with a higher output than 800psi.
When I ran my thumper with 800psi, it toped out at about 275FPS. That is with underboring as well.

Your best bet is to run CO2. Whether it may be 12 grams, 4 oz, or something larger via bottomline.

Whenever you get a chance, break the thumper down and give it a nice vaseline rub down.

Hope that helps!
