I installed a CP shorty reg on my fusion and for some reason I get visable shootdown when rapid firing. I checked the online manual for the reg and adjusted the spring pack as it says I should, I opened the LPR on my fusion all the way, so it's not that. Anyone have any clues? Could it be a worn out spring pack? I know when I got the reg that it had seven washers in it, when the manual showed six. In the condition it was in I couldn't get pressure above 200 psi, by taking the seventh washer out I was getting full pressure (CP low pressure regs are advertised up to 300 psi.) But now that I'm getting full pressure, I'm also getting shootdown. I just wanna get some input on what it MIGHT be and if there are any simpler solutions before I order a rebuild kit from CP (Though I probably should have anyway, just to have the spare parts on me.) |

| Spread The Virus | I've found these regs are seriously overrated,I have one on my Nerve and am definitely not impressed with it.Recommend getting yourself an AKA Sidewinder for it,I tried one out on my Fusion and when shot, the needle on the gauge didn't move at all at 250psi.It like all AKA products are just amazingly constant.

| Seasoned Member | My CP had the same issue, I just sold it because I liked my Hyper 2 just fine and now I have a 2-liter, which I like a little more due to the hose placement.

The shorties seem to not have *any* space to store pre-regged air, so start sucking the resevoir dry immediatently. Long ones have a bit of space, so you're well beyond snap shooting by the time it starts.
