Phantom Pistols

Anyone here use a Phantom pistol? I've been looking into getting one so that I can have something reliable that I can holster and walk around with that isn't extremely heavy like a Warsensor. I also want it to be a pump, not a semi (or else I'd get a tac8). Who here can give me some reviews of a Phantom Pistol?

To make it holster-able, you need a dropout, backbottle/12g changer, or one of these......

but the phantom is a great platform for a pistol, easier to handle than a pgp, and upgradeable.

I love mine. I love mine. I love mine.

I actually got it for nothing, and even though I play pump all the time I wouldn't have picked out this particular gun. Now that I've played with it a bit it's really grown on my. I love that it's as acurate as a "rifle" but small enough to get into tight spaces. It's one of the few distinct advantages over big semi auto guns.

Anyway, if you're looking for a holsterable pump pistol you simply can't find a more suitable example. Here's mine by the way, at least until I make a wood pump handle...

Glad to hear others out there have had luck with them. Because of what I do at most scenario games I like not having to carry a gun around but just holstering it. I plan on picking up one from Wevo as soon as I hear back from them.

I don't see Pistols as an option on the phantom page, should I send an email?

Phantom pistols are great, although I don't know how well mine would fit in a holster. It isn't exactly a lightweight, either....

Nice blamma Dewok82, I'm thinking of going this route as well.

How do you find the movement between the duckslide and the phantom body?.

DS.. your only other option would be a box gun style. I've been thinking of doing a poor man's box gun for a couple months now and am basically waiting on getting my drill press back from my sister (they used it for drilling spindle holes for their railings at their new house) and enough cash together to pick up a cheap phantom to work things out and get it together.

Nice grips on that Redux... are the Hogue?

Quite smooth actually...it doesn't really rub up against the body much if at all.

It's just a regular Duckslide Phantom. The grips are whatever came with the 86* CCM frame, but I do believe they are made by Hogue.
