| MCB Member | Cleaning the inside of my Grey Spirit I picked up a Grey Spirit a couple weeks ago. The first thing I did was tear it down and clean it. The exterior of the gun is in great shape considering it's age. The inside of the barrel though...I don't know if the original owner ever ran a squegee through it. There was old paint caked on. After some hot water and very mild soap, there still is more paint that I want stuck to the inside. Any suggestions on cleaners that might take it off without ruinning the finish. Or, just a long hot water soak? Also, the LAPCO grips are pretty dirty. Again, I used some hot water and mild soap, but... Any ideas there either? Thanks, Marc |
