Pump Karni giving me grief...

Alright, so I just installed a new frame and auto trigger onto my gun. In the process, I accidentally backed out my lug too far, the hammer twisted, so I had to back out my IVG until it twisted back as well.

I got the auto trigger working and such, it shoots, yada yada. Now, the problem I'm having is that it seals up fine if the reg is around 160 fps, (Yes, I have a pressure tester), if I turn it up to 280, about where it usually runs, it leaks from around the valve. With the frame on and everything it leaks down the barrel, while the gun is cocked or not. Backblock forward or back. When it shoots it won't go over 200, 240 if I'm lucky.

I don't have any gun oil, otherwise I'd put a few drops through it.. Think that would be it? Or should I pull the internals and re-examine.. (The ICS is a huge pain in the rear to unscrew)

Any help is appreciated.

I figured the same, does that mean entire new valve? or is it just an o-ring type deal?

depends - there is an oring there and a seal with a post - usually if it holds air at lower pressure then higher pressure not it would be the cup seal (the one with the post)

/shrug - have not torn apart a karni in a long while tho hope someone else chimes in lol

Weird normally you get leaks down the barrel like that when the pressure is too low. Oh well. Pull the valve and throw some new orings on it. Then push the cup seal onto the valve and twist it around a bunch while pushing, if the cup seal isnt one with an oring on it.
