Will this vert asa fit my cocker?

I know most parts are interchangeable, but I just want to make sure.

This one

I have not sure what year but its just a plain Vert cocker. Its a 2k+ I do know that.

vert ASAs aren't dependent on the year of the gun. they are universal.

wrong, that ASA will not fit anything except the 2k5 prostock/superstock and 05 black magic. any other body is too wide to fit in the groove.

also older pre 99 cockers have a squared body that doesnt allow the use of rounded 2k+ vert asas, so no they are not universal.

you can use pretty much any vert asa except the one you posted and the vertical version of the one you posted.

any of the ones on pbgateway that say 2k-2k3 will fit a standard body 2k cocker (with the exception of a few FBM bodies which have 2k threaded squared bodies)

Hmmmm so an angled one probably won't fit then huh? Cause all the angled ones are 2k5+ Would I be able to modify the asa to fit it? Like shave some off or are the mounting holes and such different?

the asa mounting holes are the same on all cockers. the only problem is if you shave the lip off the 2k5 asa to fit then there isnt anything really stoping the asa from spining or stripping out/breaking durring a hard dive or fall. they make standard autococker 15* angled asa's you can find them elsewhere on the internet.

Hmmmm thanks! I'll have to do some more research then. What if I shaved some off of the cocker itself? Or would I be shaving into the chamber itself?

you could shave the body pretty safely. the only problem is that the 2k5 asa groove is pretty skinny so youll be taking off a decent amount of metal.
