Installing new Vforce foam...

I finally found and ordered foam for a Profiler I have.

The foam does not appear to have any adhesive on it. What should I use?

There were no instructions or anything - just a piece of foam in the package.

3M weatherstripping adhesive works great for replacing foam. It is readily available in any auto parts place.

I've heard of folks using Super Glue on new foam.

I'd be cautious and try some super glue on the old foam to make sure it doesn't destroy it. Cyanocrylate can ruin lots of stuff(and make interesting smelling smoke).

A hobby or craft store may have just what you need. A small hardware store with knowledgeable staff would be a good place to look too.

But the FIRST thing I would do is give VForce a call or look on their web site to see what they recommend.

Get the rubberized super glue that RC car guys use to glue their tires on. You should find it at any decent hobby shop.

I've been using that stuff to hold on foamies and mask foam for over a year now. GOOD stuff!

Barge Cement,

used for gluing leather to anything else, and small furry animals to my little sister (no, don't ask, and no, it wasn't my fault)
