WGP Sniper Cocking...

Hello,

This may be an obvious question to most of you, but I've never held a Sniper pump marker before, so please bear with me.

I'm thinking about buying a CCM pump kit for my Autococker and modding it a bit.

My question: After I cock the bolt and cocking rod back, does the gun cycle the bolt forward right away? Or does the spring on the pump do that?

I'm thinking about doing a breech-load mod and need to have the bolt drawn back until I draw it forward manually via the pump handle.

Thank you.

The pump returns the bolt. So if you do not have a pump return spring it won't return on its own.

Great, thanks!

Now to just decide whether it's worth the time and cost to mod a 'cocker or just buy an Empire Trracer.

Those Trracers sound pretty loud when they cock, though. :/

The time isn't really much - it'll take a beginner about 30 mins to swap from autococking to pump on an autococker.

As for the cost, it will cost some more, but IMO it is well worth it. A sniper > a trracer in almost every way.

I wanted to do a breech-load mod for FS rounds. That would take a while.

I've read mixed reviews about the Trracer. Some don't like it, others love it after using it. I'm looking for a very quiet (when it comes to cocking/mechanical sounds) pump gun with a right or left feed tube.

The search continues.

if you want to load FS rounds, go with the tracer.

Or throw a hitman plate on it and hold the breach open via the plate with your other hand while you load FS round.
