What would you get new or used. Guns I see on ebay. Lots of smart parts (ions mostly) shocker, dangerous power g3, e1 - fusion,dm 5, proto maxtrix rail, invert mini, ego 1, gog ... Not really sure what i should be looking for or what years. Hopefully some one can help me out. Last edited by headstrong; 02-06-2012 at 10:35 AM. |

$200 for just a marker? do you have barrels/air tanks/co2 tanks/masks/etc gear If you have an hpa tank, then your options are limitless If you have a co2 tank, then we have to factor in a hpa tank into the equation V3 Mini's 06 Egos Virtued/fully Upgraded ions dm5/6 i've seen more issues with the pmr's, but at the same time, i've shot a few that were amazing (same for shockers and dp's)

Get a good classic automag w/lvl 10 in it, thats what I would get. And if you're using CO2 get the biggest expansion chamber you can. But first do you research on any gun you choose. I can diagnose any problem w/my automag quickly while someone new to the gun my be stumped, but there is a very good walk through on how to do that on youtube, this being the first of a 9 part series. Automag video with Tom Kaye pt1/9 - YouTube If you're doing speedball and not much rec ball do what stanchy said. |

I'd go used as well, the biggest thing is to do your research well ahead of time on any marker you might be interested in and then make your decision based upon what you prefer.

My suggestion would be to post up a WTB thread with your budget and what you are looking for in a package and I think you might be surprised what you can get for $200-$250. Paintball resale sucks at the best of times but this economy right now is a buyers market for sure.

What's your preferred style of play? I'd spend $75 on a good, thermal lens mask first. With the $175 left over (you mentioned a total budget of $250), you have plenty of options depending on your play style - speedball (older electro or newer low-mid end), stock class (used Phantom or PGP)... general use (AutoMag - suggest Level 7 bolt as I've never had one chop) My preference: avoid douchebag, rich-soccer-mom-funded agglets with high-rate-of-fire electros, play with a pump or mechanical semi-auto, reload using 10-round tubes. |
