best year PMR?

Looks like from what I'm reading and learning I'm leaning tawords a PMR. Perhaps the 2009?

09-10 are really the best. The UL frame was standard and all the plastic parts from earlier versions are metal.

off topic but, How do you tell the year? I have one I got used several years ago and for the life of me I can't find any identifying marks on it.

It was usually the parts that defined it.
The older ones had the composite frame, composite trigger, composite eye covers, and grippy feedneck.

Eventually it got the UL frame (with trigger), On/off, a little nicer feedneck.

well it is older, came with the composite frame, but it has a after market frame on it now, the back cap seems to be aluminum, not sure about the feed neck, there is nothing special about it.

Best way - compare bodies with images found in the manuals on dye's tech help site, dyematrix.com. 2010 is my personal fave, for the reasons cwest stated.

The new ones use the eye pipe system.
