yup that's how you calculate it, but drilling a tap drill that diameter is asking for trouble... I'd bore it if possible (to 20.25mm) PS if you're going to use a drill (better be a stubby), 51/64 is a "standard" size which is precisely equivalent to 20.25mm. so you could theoretically order a drill in that size, either in stubby format or cut it down yourself (could even make it flat bottom and get a nice square shoulder at the bottom). |

Thanks for all the help everyone. Heres the breach I made for my Gargoyle. The angel threads were simple once I had all the right tools. Its still raw and not milled for appearance but its completely functional. I will be making a mod for another one of my markers, so it can also use a clamping angel threaded feed neck, in the near future. I appreciate everyone's suggestions in regard to my project. Cheers

nice! can we see it on the gun? Are you trying to get a full mini hopper off a 12gram? Or just running a tank? Looking at that and thinking of trying to carry a spare 12gram in the "feedtube" position.

Pictures are up. Not running a tank. I was thinking of putting an occluded sight in the "feed tube" position.

| E-Tac Operator = Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Illinois | Maybe we should just call them Automag threaded feednecks and detents now? This really is the only reason they are still sought after, because the ULE and Tac One (and other custom milled) aluminum automag bodies still use them.

I bought a 3D Pantograph Mill so I might try contouring the sides a bit more before I anodize. I also have another Automag rifle project gearing up so that may take the lead instead. Happy end of the world .... ooops that was a few minutes ago.
