First off, I've tried volunteering before. Numerous people have and MWR just doesn't contact them back. I'm also not about to just show up with a shovel.

Second, hiding in a hole is as useless as your post. Don't be an *** B-17. I'm asking for helpful ideas since someone at MWR thinks handing out my info is a more productive use of their time than doing their job.

Hmmm you say the xo doesn't care? I'm an xo and it should only take a few phone calls to raise a stink. From what I understand, the actual post in Italy is very small. You could post pictures around the post commander's office...defiantly around the post csm's office. This should raise some flags. Perhaps military one source would have the number of someone who could help. Lastly, I would talk to the chaplain. Our chaplain is essentially our liazon to mwr.

P.S.- if you aren't seeing the results you want, contact FRG. That will force the CO to do something, since it is his program, and will no doubt be dished to your xo and 1sg to handle.

I said "probably" about the XO. I just don't feel comfortable bothering the XO when the CO already has his opinion. It seems underhanded.

I hadn't thought about the chaplain. I suppose it's worth a shot.

Thanks Kearns. May I ask where you're stationed?

Will update again when/if something happens...
