Picked up some sort of marker for cheap off CL, what is it?

I got this for an insanely low price off Craigslist after I stumbled onto an ad yesterday afternoon...I think it's an ION...was about to take it apart and clean it up (it's got a broken trigger and the body is in pretty bad shape, but it definitely airs up and fires with no problem)

(tank came with the deal)

So if it's an ION, any suggestions what I can do with it? I am considering sanding the spare body down, repainting the black, and getting the carbon fiber sheets from this guy: Smart Parts ION Carbon Fiber and Chameleon Body decal kits - PbNation

but I really like the look of the grips on this... http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...ntball/FBM.jpg

Bolt out back body, and a hyper 3 regulator; not a bad deal! What's wrong with the board?

Woah, what the hell is that thing? Ive never seen one before.

Sans the 100's of others that ive worked on >_>

Best tip i can give you, don't upgrade it, it shoots the same stock as it does with 500 dollars in aftermarket stuff on it.

I took it into a local paintball shop here since I wasn't too confident taking it apart myself - the on/off button is busted, and the board isn't powering up properly (something to do with the harness being loose according to the guy at the shop)

Left it with them to fix, apparently it's gonna cost less than 20 bucks to fix and get it shooting like new.

Also, if it's a bolt out back body, does that mean I just got an ION XE for 30 bucks?...

I don't plan to do any major pricey upgrades except some cosmetic stuff, replace the broken trigger, maybe swap out the colored feedneck and regulator for something...black?

You can put the black regulator, that's the stock one. And they are pretty good ones. If you want to trade the red regulator and feedneck, I am pretty sure I have a black ones.

the red/blue one is a hyper 2, it came off a DM or PM marker. you don't need a wrench to adjust it.

the black one in your pic is the stock regulator, its good but you need a wrench to adjust it.

Got it. Thanks!
So is this the ION XE? I don't have it on me right now (it's at the local paintball shop getting fixed)
